Born in Camberwell, South London, Deborah married her childhood sweetheart over 43 years ago and set-up home in Essex. She has two sons and spent her life working in finance, based in the City of London and Essex.
Before embarking on her travelling adventure, Deborah felt something was wrong, but was dismissed by her doctors. After traveling for a year, her and husband Rupert, had to return to the UK abruptly. She has since been diagnosed with Cervical Dystonia, for which there is no known cure.
Having also undergone Deep Brain Stimulation surgery, Deborah is struggling to regain her energy and lust for life. Writing and remembering the happy times she took to visit so many wonderful places, has helped her to remain positive, with the never-ending love and support from her husband.
